Microsoft have notified us that they have identified and fixed an issue which may have impacted the booking of some resources via Exchange Online calendars.
The items which may have been affected are resources which can be selected when scheduling a meeting in Outlook calendar (resources within the University such as rooms, desks, Teams-rooms, equipment, etc,) which are configured to automatically accept/reject the booking request. Resources configured to have a human consider the booking and manually accept or reject the request will not have been affected.
The issue may have impacted booking requests made between 5:53pm on 12 July 2025 and 5:51pm on 23 July 2025. Anyone who scheduled a meeting involving a resource during the affected period and has not received an emailed response confirming acceptance or rejection of the request, is advised to edit the meeting entry in their calendar and to make a minor alteration (such as a small change to the meeting subject) in order to re-trigger the automated process for accepting/rejecting the request to book the resource.
