eRecruitment system (Brassring / Kenexa) 08:00 – 09:00, Wednesday, 9th October
What is being done? We are incorporating multi-factor authentication into the eRecruitment system (also known as Kenexa / BrassRing).
When is it being done? The change will be applied between 08:00 and 09:00 on Wednesday, 9th October 2024.
Who will this affect? All university recruiters, approvers and process administrators accessing the system using the single sign on method.
This change does not impact applicants, external or internal, accessing the system using personal log-in methods or users accessing the system via a university shared mailbox account.
How will this affect service users? The service will be unavailable between 08:00 and 09:00 on Wednesday, 9th October 2024.
Users will log in as before but must also use multi-factor authentication to access the service. For most users this is via the authenticator app (unless the user has setup another preferred method), in order to access the system.
System users will be required to MFA every 8 hours, following system logout or use of a different browser.
Why is it being done? Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a key to strengthening our cyber defences and help keep our information secure.
