What is being done?
University IT is migrating the REDCap research survey database servers. This will involve a period during which the service will be unavailable.

When is this being done?
Between 07:00 and 09:00 (morning) on Friday 25 September.

Who will be affected?
All REDCap service users.

How will this affect users of the service?
The service will be unavailable during the above period. Users are advised to save their work and sign out of their REDCap project before 07:00 hours.

The change is to the underlying technology, so the appearance of REDCap and the way users access and use the service will remain the same after the change.

Why is this being done?
This is part of our ongoing IT infrastructure improvement programme.
