File Store (H and S)

What is being done?
Emergency work on the network file store (H and S) service.

When is it being done?
Friday 15 October, 17:00 – 18:00.

Who will this affect?
All users of the networked file store service.

How will this affect users of the service?
The file store service (H and S) will be unavailable during the stated period.

Note that this will also impact on services dependent on this storage (e.g. SIMS Client and printing will also be unavailable).

Why is it being done?
To stabilise the file store service following some unforeseen issues.

This scheduled maintenance affected: File Storage (Home & Shared drive (H: & S:)), HR & Student Record Systems (SIMS (Admin)), and Computers, Software, & Printing (Printing, Copying, & Scanning).
